That was a very strange reply to my for sale ad.     Thank you John for removing it.

No problem , Ron. Spammer.

I suggest turning the handle bars a 1/4 turn down and posting another photo.

Just my opinion to make it look correct.

I also suggest taking the new picture from the drive side. This allows potential buyers to see and identify the derailleurs and crankset, which are valuable aids in determining the level and value of the bicycle. Alternately, you can post close-up pictures of the major components (i.e. crankset, derailleurs, brake calipers).

It's hard to identify much from the low resolution photo but assuming the four point reflector system is OEM, it's no older than late 1970s. This is also supported by the presence of what appears to be a five pin, cotterless  crankset, though it appears to be steel, as opposed to aluminum. This could push it into the 1980s.

CTC had Supercycles manufactured by CCM, Motobecane, Raleigh and other sources. With some better pictures and the serial number, I may be able to determine the manufacturer and year. Of course, this assumes that the OP still has the bicycle, as it is now six months removed from the original posting.

Gentlemen  thank you for those suggestions.    I will gladly send more photos if anyone is interested in purchasing any of those bikes I have in the for sale section.

Also,   on April 23  iI will be in the Ottawa area for a few days then on to Sunderland and Toronto for posibly 2 weeks.   If anyone is interested in one or more of those bikes I have for sale please make an offer and I could bring it to Ontario.

Or anyone wanting Pedal rubber Grips etc.     Leaving Nova Scotia April18.

Ron
