Tires.....again

For some reason I can't locate the previous discussion about tire size. There's someone looking for 26 x 2 x 1 3/4 tires.

Are they readily available?

the size you require is 650c x 50 ask at local bicycle shops  hope this helps    william rudolph

Hi John,

I beleve these tires are the same as the 26 X 1 3/4 tires used by Schwinn and on English trade bicycles. They have a bead diameter of 571 mm. They can be purchased on Ebay.com or probably Ebay UK. Local bike shops should also be able to order this size.

Babac Cycle, a Montreal based distributor,  still stocks a  Kenda in 26 x 1-3/4" (47-571), according to their website. The SKU/part number is 78-777.  The website allows you to search for your closest Babac retailer, who can order the tyres for you.
