I agree Old Bikes is correct but Alan was wondering about different saddles CCM used from the 30`s to the 50`s

nice seat, i was basically just inquiring is all. it's obvious that the "Lemet" seat that came with the bike i have isn't correct, but still period correct to roughly when the bike was bought new (possibly changed for comfort reasons or that the old saddle wore out.who knows). Troxel being an American brand and the obvious Dunlop/British connection makes more sense that these would be correct to the CCM's .

My 37 delivery bike came with a rubber mertens Can't tell where it's made. not too sure if is's also spelled Mertans as the 5 th letter is hard to read

I would love to trade for a long spring that also came with CCMs of that era

Hello Lawrence my 55 ccm delivery bike came with a rubber Dunlop seat .

What colour is it?

Also I got a 50's CCM woman's bike with a mesinger seat on it, with a crash rail.

The bike and seat are factory black it's 26 inch rim size.

What colour are the rims and fenders?

The fenders are black and the rims are the 26inch chrome westwoods .

So I'm guessing the fenders have been repainted or replaced. as have the rims.

The stock rims would be drop-center

Yes sorry drop centre and hole bike OG The fenders not repainted they are just like the bike black with very fine gold pinstrips,Ill post some pics when I get back home.

I have a 1936 CCM built Ranger with an original Wrights saddle. Wrights was a saddlery business in Birmingham England. The funny thing is theres another bike identical to mine, only badged differently, with a completely different seat then mine, its also supposed to be original, his has no id marks or tags but definitely not Wrights. The Ranger was built exclusively( I think) for Hudson Bay Company.Perhaps bikes with private badges got different seats?
