This bike was my grandfather's and I am trying to find the chain guard, the fenders and the decals for it.

What you have is a CCM mixte style tandem. This was introduced in 1972 and manufactured through 1977. The decal style changed in 1973 so, in order to obtain the correct decals, we'll need more information. The easiest way to tell is via the head badge if it or the outline still exists. The 1972 badge can be best described as a elongated diamond with rounded corners while 1973-1977 was rectangular. If that approach is fruitless, the 1972 had rectangular reflectors on the side of the fork blade. If the paint is original, then it may be a 1972, as that looks like it could be the ruby bronze they used that year. Baring that, we'll have to go by the serial number, which should be at the bottom of the seat tube, but that will only get us to the year of manufacture and a two year model window.

Fenders should be easy to obtain, provided you are willing to repaint, as the same style was used on the very common Encore, Elan, Elite and Esprit models. The hard part will be the chain guard. You may spend a lot of time and money trying to find one. I would seriously be considering purchasing a donor tandem.  Ther are lots of CCM Tandems, in very good condition, listed on classified sites like Canadian Listed and Kijiji. Typical asking prices are $200-$300 but it is a buyer's market. Most have been listed for several months and you can probably find a buyer willing to accept a low ball offer, just to get it out of the garage or basement prior to winter. This way you'll get both the fenders and chain guard. During this era CCM used tape like stickers, as opposed to decals, so you,ay even be able to transfer some of them,. You'll also have lots of spare parts.
