Vintage 1931 ccm

I just recently aquired this bike.I removed the diamond shaped head badge to see if colours matched and they did.I also removed the original mustache handle bars in this pic to try and clean em up a bit.The serial code is 5S8 which by the code is a 1947,but I have a serious feeling this bikes code is an error and the S should have been at the beginning making it a 1931.It has a ccm 1926 hercules back hub and all paint and parts look original. The pedals are not Gibson but by the look of the wear on the blocks,I beleive they may be original to the bike.I am not sure if ccm used only gibson pedals. Also the 3 digit serial code has my puzzled, any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, maybe even an estimated value on this.Thx=]I also have a 1959 double bar motorbike, weird thing is this has a rear Sturmey Archer Tri coaster hub and I was wondering if this would have been original and also an estimated value on this bike.I have put the original Sturmey Archer shifter and cables back on since this pic.The man I got this bike from painted the fenders and the chainguard and they were originally an off white colour, but the rest is all original paint.Thx again=]

i like both of your bikes reel nice ones. if you want to redo the fenders to the org. paint colours ken martin gan help you on this.

speaking of one Ken Martin, i was talking Flytes with him for a good 45 minutes at the Toronto Bike show and he told me about getting that exact cream colour that ccm used but sadly i never got any contact info. If anyone has Ken's email i would be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance Alan.

I'm looking for a bike to put my pixie moter on, either of these would do, although I'm sure they're not for sale.

But if anyone out here has one this colour, I'm looking. The twin bar would be cooler.

Also I need the hardware that goes with the engine, the gears and so on. Yes I'm looking in Europe
