vintage CCM and a 1941 Red Bird

I'm not the expert on the older CCM's so I'd like opinions as to the value of the 2 bikes mentioned.

The owner may be willing to sell them. I didn't want to insult her with an inappropriate offer.

The serial number on the unknown bike has not been located by her. All I have is the pictures. She sent me more pics, but these are the best ones.

The serial number on the Red Bird (which has the large basket) indicates it's a 1941 bike.

I'd offer $200 for both as they don't seem to be in great shape. maybe I'd be tempted to offer more because they have large frames.

23" frames a far less common than 20" frames.

Anybody agree or disagree with Old-Bikes?

Any opinions as to the age of the first one?

Old-bikes is generous i'd offer $150 maximum as is...don't offer much $200...

Doug if you don't want the Red Bird I would be interested in it.

@bikedenis

I'd be ok to pay $100 for each bike ($200 for both). I don't think it's a crazy price.

you could always part them out and double your investment... that large basket is pretty cool given it's in good shape.

and please don't throw rocks at me because I mentioned parting out... it's not something I do unless the bike is a mess but facts are facts.

The owner of these bikes has said thanks for the help.. If they decide to sell, I'm told I'll be contacted.

I do need a couple older bikes in my collection.  :-)

Hi Tom, I'll keep you posted.  I didn't get a picture of the full Red Bird headbadge, but suspect it's all there.

I just picked up both of these bikes. The Red Bird's headbadge is complete and in great shape.

The serial number on the other starts with a "T". I guess it's a 1932 bike. No headbadge is present on that one.

They both roll great, but need new tubes and tires.

The sellers also had 2 front rims. One red with whte pinstripes. The other looks white with blue pinstripes, may be chrome.  ???

I am in need of a clean bright red 28 inch rim.

Do you know the condition of the rim?

It wasn't great. I'll post a picture tonight, but a local guy was asking about the same type rim. I don't know if he wanted a front or a rear.
