Vintage CCM Hockey Gloves

Picked these up at the Canadian Vintage Bicycle Winter Show this weekend in Brantford.

Thought they were cool. Not sure of the year, I suspect 1960's. If anyone has any idea or info, please let me know.

Well, I know very little about the hockey side of the brand but the gloves do appear to use the six digit part number format. On the bicycles, this system was used through 1972, being superceded by a nine digit system for 1973. I'm not sure exactly when the six digit system was introduced but I believe it was circa 1963, shortly after the Levy family took control. It definitely wasn't used in the 1950s. I have nothing covering 1960-1961 and have temporarily misplaced my 1962-1964 literature but can confirm that the six digit system was in place by 1965.

Nice gloves!

I have a 1964/65 CCM Winter Goods Catlogue and the gloves in this catalogue had a 4 digit model number. I also have a 1965/66 CCM Cataologue and the gloves in this catalogue use a 6 digit model number. As per T-Mar comment above it looks like the 6 digit model number started in fall of 1965 and ended 1972 so your gloves are made somewhere between 1965 and 1972 but my 1965/66 catalogues does not have this pair of gloves twith the model number 510214 in the catalogue so i would say made after 1965.
