To my knowledge, Majestic was a Montreal based business that imported bikes and applied their badge. I once owned a cute boy/girl pair that they brought in from a Czech factory - maybe Favorit. They might have had a wholesale catalogue of parts for bike shops too but that's just a guess.

Search 'majestic' on this site and you'll find my old post.

Thanks for your suggestions Brian.

As noted, Majestic was the house of the Majestic Bicycle & Supply Company of Montreal. The company was owned by Aaron Hershbain, who was born in Russia in 1890 and immigrated to Canada in 1907. By 1911 Hershbain was operating a bicycle repair business and circa 1916  established Hershbain Bros., a bicycle and sewing machine business, with two of  his siblings. The Majestic company was created circa 1933 and survived until at least 1970. Hershbain died in 1974.

While we have seen contract manufactured Majestic, some sources claim that the company also had manufacturing operations. If the subject bicycle is another of the Czech manufactured models, this will be easy enough to identify from the serial number, which will also indicate the year.
