The Rocket picks a stick

The immortal Maurice "The Rocket" Richard, one of the greatest goal scorers in the history of the N.H.L.. tries a couple of sticks from a rack full of CCM lumber. 

It's a mystery to me.....

Small point, but it's a mystery to me why the stick (or gloves for that matter) that accompanied Paul Henderson's '72 Summit Series sweater on the recent Henderson Jersey Tour (pictured below) didn't have a CCM logo on it.

For those who wore its footwear into battle.....


Signed by CCM in 1936 King Clancy was the first pro athlete to be paid to endorse the company's products.
