1901 or so CCM Brantford Red BirdModel 57 Racer

 Few Picture of my CCM Brantford Red Bird Model 57 Racer. Just got this bike back together and painted.I painted it and If i do say so my self it didn,t  turn out to bad .  What do you think of the colour? Has fixes gear and. CCM Hussey bars and narrow tires .

Are those rims from the amish guy in the US ?

Yes they are. I have bought about 12 pair over the years. They are nice and tires go on no problem. Any spoke count 28 32 36 40. Mine have the alloyed liner makes them a lot stronger.

Well as far as the colour goes I had a piece of a frame tubing  from way back and I think it was Brantford. So ijust started looking at solidcolours and kind of matched it up with the piece i had.  So there is violet and scarlet red in there some where. Plus red Oxide black and white. It turned out pretty close to the colour i wanted.

 I was looking for Toe clips for my Brantford Racer and John Williamson came through with some NOS toe clips that work great and are the right era.Just finished it all off.I think
