Thank goodness old bikes are still an affordable hobby that any old bloke can get into without breaking the bank. Mostly just costs you some elbow grease and an appreciation for simpler times...a great way to learn to slow down and become a tinkerer...priceless enjoyment all day long...fix it up and ride that beauty its nicer than a hundred new bikes!

I'm sure thats true; being so new to this hobby I have no idea which ones are desireable its just nice that there is something for everyone. I'm really thankful for this website both as a resource and a sense of community. Straight forward, respectful opinions and content.

Not all models are affordable for some people.
Bikes in demand fetch big bucks.
Condition is a major factor. The bike above is not one that is highly collectible and the condition is poor.
