Can someone identify this bike?

I acquired this bike recently from a relative.  I can't really find any identification or serial numbers on it, or any indication of make/model.  So I'd like to know what I have here, when it was likely made, etc.  And yes, I know the front fender is on backwards.  Thanks for any info.

It is a CCM made in Canada and may be you'll see the serial number on the left side  on the bottom bracket or under  the bottom bracket ( crank set )

It's a girl's bike. 

Someone painted it with a wisk broom. 

All the parts are there so blast it and carefully  restore it... 

or you could try taking the house paint off with Xylene. 

watch out that's toxic stuff 

As is, it's worth about $100.
