I'm just curious as to the current value of my CCM Cobra in its current condition, and also what it would be worth if it had the tall sissy, chainguard and correct front wheel on it.

Value & a fair price for this Bike.
I have this old bike , I have no idea what brand it is? Some have said it was a CCM , but I dont think that they used top tubes like this one... only one marking on it. a decal that is really faded and Goldish in colour... I am curious if it is worth anything, or should I donate it to the scrap heap...I am not a restorer either, so maybe someone would be interested in it if the price was really right...it is located on mid Vancouver Island..
I just recently aquired this bike.I removed the diamond shaped head badge to see if colours matched and they did.I also removed the original mustache handle bars in this pic to try and clean em up a bit.The serial code is 5S8 which by the code is a 1947,but I have a serious feeling this bikes code is an error and the S should have been at the beginning making it a 1931.It has a ccm 1926 hercules back hub and all paint and parts look original. The pedals are not Gibson but by the look of the wear on the blocks,I beleive they may be original to the bike.I am not sure if ccm used only gibson pe

I picked up a bike a few days ago, I was hoping it would be very very old judging by the pictures of the wooden wheels in the ad, but based on the serial number on the bike, 4S3265, I'm going to say it's a '47. Can anyone maybe tell me a bit about it? Model, type, whether the wood rims could be OEM or whether someone rebuilt the wheels with them? I was reasonably certain they stopped making wood wheels around the turn of the century, so it feels like something is off by a quarter turn.
Received the following note.
Hello,
My first time posting in the forum. I have had my CCM for a while now and I have to say it is one of my favorite bikes. The paint is in excellent condition, looks like it was stored in a barn for its entire life. I am interested in knowing a bit more about it and I thought the experts in this forum may be able to help.
