1939 CCM "Road Racer"

I have been collecting vintage bicycles for a while now, and have owned several old CCM road bicycles, roadsters, balloon tire steeds, and the like.  Presently I have early to mid seventies CCM Tour du Canada and a recently acquired 1939 CCM "Road Racer".

I am trying to find information, pictures, catalog scans and what ever else will help me identify cosmetic presentation, and correct componentry.  At the moment, the bicycle is missing its brake, and original flip-flop hub set.  Based on the picture from a catalog, it would appear the bicycle is also missing its fender set.

Anyway, thought I would share and look for this old bicycle in the pages of MY "TEN SPEEDS" soon.  I am in the process of making it road worthy tomorrow.

Randy:  Send me an email at bmwchev@msn.com,  I have most info you require.  You have a great site; I have referred to it often over the past couple of years.   I have been tracking down parts for my 38 RR for awhile now...getting ready for paint soon.....see some pix   http://s917.photobucket.com/albums/ad20/dobie45/1938%20CCM%20ROAD%20RACER/   Cheers, Wayne
