no guys 3 speed is not more desireable , what you are looking for is a duomatic! thats as rare is they get! a mint duomatic charger is worth about $1000-$1200, though i have seen a nos red 3 speed charger sell for $1200 thats what you are looking at for a mint original bike

Okay thanks Old-bikes...I already rebuilted it ;) because I'm a mechanic ....this wheel has not run a lot because the bicycle is scrap due to an accident a couple years a go but I keep the wheels. and are intact..
Value depends on the model and condition.
3 speeds are more desireable.
Some parts are hard to find. Original seats probably the hardest.
I paid between $80 and $200 for poor conditioned, incomplete ones.

However, I have a wheel 28 x1 1/2 with a hub duomatic.. SO how much for this wheel ?....
@bikedenis: the value is in the hub; fully rebuilt and in perfect working condition (no bearing wear or else) I guess it could be worth up to $100.
