CCM Tour Du Canada

Hi to all, i found this gorgeous Tour du Canada on the net and could not resist in buying it . It is in very pristine condition and all the Campagnolo Nuovo grouppo is in perfect shape. Unfortunately the original wheels are all that is missing but i am now searching the net and ebay for some Campagnolo high flange records hubs and tubular rims to bring the bike to specs.

My plan is to attend the Eroica in Italy and be the only CCM amongst famous italian and european builders...

 

I am trying to find out what year is the frame (which seems to have the original color)...I recon it must be around 1973-1974 and other relevant info.The stamped number reads TO747 .

the only CCM bike that I wish I could find in near NOS condition, never found one ..... yet :)

That's the 1977 model, which wasn't catalogued. I've always maintained that these were built up from leftover 1976 frames. The only changes from previous years are the change in colour, new graphics and Campagnolo brakes replacing the Universal 68. 

The original wheelset was Campagnolo Record, large flange, 36 hole hubs, laced to Fiamme Red Label rims, equipped with D'Alesandro Extra tubular tyres. Besides the wheels, the saddle and freewheel appear to have been changed. You may want to change that 46T inner ring for something more hill friendly.
