What year and has it got the "C" Fork on it. If so I would be interested. You can contact me at kcoupal@sasktel.net. I have a good knowledge of what it`s worth.

$650.00

In your dreams, maybe original paint.

Guarantee if you put it on ebay it will go for more than $650.  I don't think gtflyte is off much at all, as long as the fork is with it.

It looks like the frame is a '36 (Z36XXX)and it has the fork. After looking a bit closer, the headbadge has a good scuff mark in the upper corner and the spray bomb repaint  is scratched up, but it's a solid frameset.

Also, thanks for the help in pricing. At least I've got something to go on.

Nice bike! Are those fenders the correct ones for a Flyte? They have more of a pinch going thru the fork than normal ones. Good luck with the sale. I suspect that once you list it for sale it won't take more than a day for someone to grab it up.

Sorry I will take my friends word that supplies bicycles to the CCM Museum and has many bicycles, major collector of 50`s Flyer Reynolds Prolite CCM bicycles which are a lot rarer, plus he collects pre 1900`s canadain built bicycles. You may as well say it`s worth what a Elgin Bluebird is worth. Not everything is gold.

Hey Lou. Everyone has their own opinion on what stuff is worth and these are no different. They may not be the rarest Canadian made bike frame styles but they are very sought after, which takes price to a totally different level. I mean, look at Schwinn's. They made milions of them and yet they command retarted prices. Oh and a don't think Flytes will ever be in Elgin Bluebird territory.

I base my opinions on price mostly on what I see stuff actually sell for. And the last 2 Flytes  which were projects that went up on kijiji in the last year were priced at a grand and lasted only a day.

In the end we are all here to help and encourage one another.

Cheers!

As for the fenders HotRodRob,that's the set that was on the frame when I bought it some 15 years ago.

I would know the difference from these and the correct ones. Thanks

I should say, I wouldn't know the difference.

The wheels don`t look to be original? What kind of front hub and rear hub?

Right you are. ..The wheelset are off a GT 101.Tornedo "Duomatic" rear and noname front.I just put them on the frameset for the pictures.I'm going to be selling the frameset with crank and fenders only. Thanks

Duomatic Hub is a great hub. Where are you listing the bike?
