I know there's a chart dating CCM bicycles by their serial number, does anyone know if there is anything similar out there dating the various headbadges the company used?
There are a couple of charts for the CCM serial numbers.
They are not the same...
As for head badges, I have a 37 CCM Tradesman's bike with a two colour, two part, diamond shape badge.
I had a mens 43 CCM with a cheap looking diamond shape pop riveted on.
I saw a 33 woman's CCM with no badge, and another woman's bike ,same, no badge.
When did CCM start putting badges on bikes?
Ok guys I want to know what head badge a woman's 1933 CCM would look like.
I am getting just such a bike repleate with pin striping and original Vancouver decals....
Tra-la,
I have been looking a long time for a 30's loop frame.
So if I don't hear any different from the wise ones on this board i'm going to put another two part diamond badge on my new '33.
I sure am going to have the KOOLEST matched pair of 30's CCMs in this quadrent of the universe, unless anyone has a better set.
I can't post pictures yet, but I would like to see more CCM pictures...
Lawrence: below are a couple of pages from the 1933 company catalog showing the ladies' and girls' models.
Interesting,
The girls looks like a loop frame and the woman's has the twin bars
Now my 33 is a big bike and has a loop frame
My 38 is also a woman's sized bike with a loop frame.
So I guess there were two styles of woman's bikes in the 30s.
Thanks for your help, John.
Looking for a CCM Cleveland Badge from the early 30`s. Any dibs would be great and very helpful?
