Hello from Sandston VA USA

My name is Paul R. Jones and I have a DSB designed CCM 4speed Nexus cruiser.

Can anyone tell me about this bike????

Welcome to the CCM forum.

The Shimano Nexus 4 speed hub was made in the mid to late 1990's, not really falling into the "vintage" category.

Perhaps somebody else on here can help with the DSB designation. I'm not familiar with the name, but know that CCM sold some internal geared cruisers around that same time. A co-worker had a green and off-white CCM.

I found this link to perhaps a similar bike. I'm assuming it's OK to attach links on this forum. blush

The green and off-white one I previously mentioned was more of a typical cruiser styled frame, but I think this helps confirm the general age of the 4 speed hubs.

Replacement parts for the 4 speed hubs are somewhat hard to find. Shimano has not made them for at least 12 years.

The bike was branded LL Bean.

Pictures will help.

Here is a picture. The bike is a daily rider, bought at an outlet LL Bean store, and I have made some upgrades. The mirror, drink holders, cable, lights, and rack are additions. I know it is not vintage, but I do not know who else to to ask about the bike.
