Hello everyone!

I found couple years ago a very old bike and i cant find any information on this compagny.

Maybe some of you can help me put a date on it and find out where it was made in canada.

Its a Mount Royal (made in Canada) serial number B6168

The only thing i found was that S.Carsley catalogue in Montreal were saling this brand in 1903.

Thanks for your help.

The badge doesn't look like it was on that bike originally. It looks too large for the section of tube between the lugs, and the left screw or rivet is missing.  With the top tube curved like that, it looks like a bike from the 1920s-1940s - my best guess is 1930s. The frame construction and chainring are consistent with bikes made by SCP (Standard Cycle Products) in Toronto, but it could have come from other sources, it's hard to say. What does the rear hub have stamped on it, New Departure or CCM?

You mentioned the S. Carsley store selling that brand, so it's likely that was the brand name chosen by that department store. Many hardware and department stores in those days had their own brand name badge on bikes they sold.

Thank you Brian!
I will look for SCP.
The hub is a Perry. I'm not sure if the wheels are original to the bike. But the fenders and wheels are a color match, so maybe its original.
The seat and the cyclometer make me think it would be older then the 30's...
