No longer "Another CCM Identity crisis"

I recently found these two bikes in my Grandparents garage attic.

I was wondering if anyone could identify the year and model?

Apparently they didn't use metal headbadges after 1965. I would guess close to that

The two bicycles in the original post are 1964 CCM Ramblers.

Thanks everyone for the speedy replys and an extra thanks to T-Mar!

I look forward to being part of this community

I've already begun the teardown. I plan to rebuild the 28" with the sum of parts from both.

Which leaves me with the 26" bike if anyone is interested. (I live in Calgary)

I'll try to post progress pics as I go.

Thanks Chris

I thought I'd post a few update pics.

I spent last week shining up the rims and cleaning tires. I was surprised to find the original inner tubes still hold air! Although I'm a little concerned about the cracks in the tires.

I tore down the pedels and attemted to shine them up a bit, re-greased the bearings and re assembled.

Lastly I shinned chrome for days.

The frame, fenders and chain guard have gone away for paint and are expected back Tuesday. I'll post more pics once I receive them.
