A Question

The other day at a  Winnipeg stoplight waiting for the green light a bike pulled up next to me that made me do a double take, I only had seconds to look at it but it appeared to be a reproduction CCM ballooner, maybe a 10 year old bike, not sure. It had the CCM stamped chainring, really wide bars and a frame with I think a twin arch under the straight bar, clearly marked CCM. Was I dreaming at that stoplight? Did they really make this repro? Was it a huge run of these? I never saw one before and I'm always around bicycles!

I've never seen a repop of a double bar CCM bike. Maybe it was a custom job made to look old.

This is a CCM Legacy produced by Procycle in 1999 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of CCM.  Was this it?

Thats it!! Thats exactly what I saw, thanks so much for posting the picture. Was there a huge run of these or just a small number produced? I ask this because I had never seen one before so I assume they might have value one day. Thanks again John, I wasn't dreaming after all :)

Not sure how many of these were produced, but you're right, OldRider, you see very few of them.
