It depends on where your picture is housed. If it's on a photo sharing site such as Flickr or Picasa you must provide a link to it.
If it is housed on your computer in "My Documents" or "My Picures" for instance then you can load the photo directly into your post by using the Add Image box.
Should there be a link to a picture, or am I missing something? I like my bikes the same way, it's a great theft deterrent.
