I have owned the Formula one since1968,. This was new in 1969,bought for my 21 birthday. Just starting to clean it up after many years in storage (not me, the bike).hopefully I can obtain helpful information over the next few month. With the covid shutdowns, the CCM has provided me something to keep me busy.
How difficult is obtaining Orem parts for the formula?
The CCM Formula 1 was only produced for the 1972 model year. The 1968 10-speeds were the Gran Turismo and Grand Prix.
The Formula 1 was produced during the year that the bicycle boom exploded. These bicycles had a lot a factory subststituted parts. This can make it hard to determine exactly what was factory spec. However, it was only an upper, entry level model and the parts found on a Formula 1 were also used on a myraid of other bicycles. Consequently, it's typically not too diffcult to find good condtion, used parts.
