Vintage CCM Camelback

Hello everyone.I am new to this forum,so hopefully I get this right.lol.This past week I obtained a CCM camelback bike in what looks like almost all original. It has diamond shaped headbadge and is solid marroon. It has the kidney bean spocket with the ccm triplex crank that use the pins.It has the back rack with the clip attached that acts as a luggage carrier and drop down stand as well. This rack is also a solid marroon.Almost the entire bike is factory pinstriped like the forks/fenders/rims/all frame bars and around the headbadge. The back hub is a Pat CCM 1926 Hercules.I have pulled the original mustache handlebars off to clean them.I do have some CCM info and experience as I have been refurbishing/restoring vintage bikes for the past 4 years now,but this bike has got me a bit puzzled. The serial number is on the left side of the seat tube and reads what looks like 5S8.I do know that an S in the 2nd digit of a serial code is a 1947 while an S at the beggining of a serial code is a 1931.The thing that gets me is this bike has to many characteristics of a 1931 or older examples are kidney bean sprocket/diamond headbadge/1926 hub/3 piece cotterpin crank/back stand.I have had some amazing original painted ccms in the past and the patina and the bike as a whole just looks way to old to be a 1947.I was also wondering why there would only be a 3 digit serial code as most I have seen are 5+ and the digits actually look larger then most I have seen.I do know that ccm have made serial errors in the past as I have just recently got rid of an original 1960 ccm double bar motorbike where the serial code had the T at the beginning when it should have been at the end.Any help would be appreciated.I hope my pics post good and sorry for talking all your ears off lol.Thx=]I am sorry,I only have this 1 small pic.I will try and load a few good pics for you all.Thx=]
