Just picked this up yesterday. It's got a Garry badge on the front. I'm not quite sure how to reead this serial number though?
Anyone have any insight?
Thanks
that I wouldn't ever come up with more headscratchers.......here's another poor misused vintage CCM. Any thoughts/suggestions/clues as to model year and model would be greatly appreciated. Just a thought but with that yellow paint and those "industrial" double bars, could this bike have belonged to the RCAF during WWII ?? The painted a LOT of their equipment this shade of yellow for visibility reasons.....including the planes used in the Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
OK, all you CCAM gurus out there......here's another one for you to sort out. This belongs to my wife's 1st cousin and ger husband thought it would be nice to find out more about this old CCM. After making the serial number appear from under the 3 coats of paint, I was sure someone out there on this board would help me help him. I sure was surprised to see Inoue "Tyres" on a bike this old......unless they were replaced somewhere along the way ?? Also, would that have been a Brooks or similar leather saddle on this bike originally ??
I am restoring my mother's 1943 ccm girls bicycle.
Would like to aquire the appropriate head badge for that year or reasonable facimile.
Any suggestions or items for sale would be welcome.
Thanks!
Hi, I picked up this neat little bike for FREE off the street and thought it would be a fun project to get it running again. First problem is how to disengage the chain connector link, there is no larger space to push the plate in to and it appears to be a "push on or snap on" fit (??). The other side of the link has "W Germany" stamped on it...any ideas?
Thanks!
Ian
I just got this plate and was wondering how it would have been attached. I would like to put it on my vintage CCM Imperial II. Does it go on the front or back wheel?
Anyone suggest how to best remove what I believe is called the "Driven Clutch" piece from the hub shell? Thanks
Anyone able to tell me if Phillips "Vitesse" pedals are the same as Phillips Credalux pedals? I am wanting to buy a pair of Vitesse pedals for a 39 Flyer. Thanks
There's a gentleman looking to date these two posters. Anyone?
