Help in identifying

Hi, I need some help in identifying a bike I recently acquired. It appears to be all original, and rides beautifully. I do need to replace a spoke on the back wheel, but that's not much to complain about.  I will attach a photo of the bike, serial number, and a detail or two. Thanks!

Vintage Bike Show in Almonte

Mississippi Mills Bicycle Movement & Causeway Work Centre, Right Bike & Cycle Salvation have worked out the details for the show I had previewed several weeks ago. For all the details go to: www.mmbm.ca

CCM Maroon Paint

I am restoring a 1933 CCM Crescent, but the paint need to be redone as someone seems to have added some blue to the original brown/maroon colour. It still has its pin strips.

Can anyone tell me the code for the brown/maroon colour match that CCM was so famous for?

Looking for info on 1950 CCM Club Racer

Hello all,

I just aquired this old girl and looking to restore it.

The back hub is incorrect due to the SA hub.

I was thinking on getting a modern rear hub and have fun with it.

Squeaky CCM 37 hub

Anyone know how to stop a 37 hub from squeaking? I've completely overhauled it with new grease and have put a few drops of oil in the oiling port but it still squeals like crazy just near the end of braking.

Thanks... Wayne

Foil head badge

Can anyone identify this head badge. The bicycle is a "Targa"?

Thanks, Daryl

Got the Flyte about where I want it....

Well I think I finally have the Flyte about where I want it. The Dunlop rims from the gal's CCm I found look great! The pump is an excellent addition too. I know I'm missing the rear reflector but i can't figure out what would go on there. There is no hole where a bolt on reflector would have gone and there are no marks from where a spot weld would have been. Also can't find any marks there a bracket might have rested.

CCM Chain guards

Here are a few I've found recently:

CCM Spokes

I recently bought a spoke lot. I really only wanted a couple things, but seller wanted it gone as a lot.

can anyone date these spokes? 15 gauge. Long nickel nipples.

How to remove glue

Received the following request. Any suggestions? John

I don't know if you can help me. I own a CCM mountain bike that 20 some years old. I just peeled all the originbal stickers that were on it. The proble is the glue remaining on the frame that I cannot get off. I tried to wipe it with gasoline, lighter gas, rubbing alohol, carburator cleaner, diesel fuel, methyl hydrate, baby oil, varsol, paint thiner and acetone.

Nothing has worked so far.

If anyone could tell me what to use I will gladly appreciate it.
