Sand in rims

Hi,

I wasn't sure where to post this.  It is a technical question.

The rims on the bike I am currently restoring have sand inside the rim. You can hear it when the wheel turns. I tried blowing it out, but it didn't seem to get the most of it.

The rims are 26 x 1.5 F12 V160 Made in Canada

Did anyone else ever encounter this problem?  How did you deal with it?

Thanks and take care,

Daryl

CCM Mustang Coaster

Hello all! i've just recieved an old CCM Mustang Coaster from my mother who bought it years ago with the intent to fix it up and it ended up never leaving the storage locker. It didn't come with any papers or owners manual and i can't seem to track down a serial number, but man oh man is this thing cool! I want to fix it up and get everything rechromed and maybe a new paint job. Any info anyone has about this bike is much much appreciated, mainly the year and possible resale value. thanks!

OK

If you guys are so smart, you will know what kind of bike Detective Murdoch rides in the show,

I really like that show, but when you see him riding it you can't get enough of a look at it to tell.

wheel & tire help

i am wanting to replace  the wheels on my 1963 imperial  mark II, as they are in pretty bad shape... i don't believe  the wheels  are original ...the tire  size reads 700c x 35...AND 28 x1 1/2....when i measure the rim they are approx. 24 inch....

im planning  on ordering  a replacement coaster brake wheel off ebay...but im now unsure what to get....im hoping  someone  can shed some light on what to get....also what size the stock wheels & tires should be?

Hi everyone, I've recently bought what seems to be a Spoiler & was looking to get some information to restore it.

First of all, the paint looks original & the cables holes looks factory, the frame number is: B578289

For Sale!

CCM Model & Date

Hi,

I am new to restoring CCM Bicycles.  I was wondering if anyone could identify this model/year.  The serial # (stamped on L dropout is J271947...does that mean it is a 1947? It cam with a Komet Super 161 coaster brake.  I noticed the lacing of the rear wheel is a three-cross but all three crosses are over and not two over and one under.  Also I am looking for a chain guard for this bike.  I assume it had one.  Either original or after market will work, preferably in white or chrome.

Thanks and take care,

Daryl
