1937 Men's CCM Bicycle

Tire problem

I picked up a 51 CCM roadster (I think that's the model) with original painted and pinstriped rims. The tires also looked like they might be original and would be in decent shape if they weren't cracked on the sides. They were 26 x 1 1/2 Dunlop Rangers. Anyway I thought I'd just change them out with another oldish set of tires that I have that are in much better shape. They are 26 X 1.75. I figured they should fit. There's lots of room in the fenders and frame. Imagine my surprise when they wouldn't come even close to getting on the rim.

Stolen bike alert - Ottawa

Chainless CCM gear covers

If anyone out there has a CCM built chainless 1900 or so They where made with Massey Harris  Cleveland  Perfect  Brantford head badges but the frames are all the same, If you are missing the gear covers get back to me.  I am making a set for   a CCM Massey Harris bike that is missing the gear covers.  They are made in Fiberglass and when painted it would be very hard the tell the difference from original which if they are missing you will hunt a long time.to find.

CCM Flyer?

Received the following photos from a fellow looking for info on a wooden-rim bike he's had in storage for a number of years. Thoughts?

Vintage CCM Camelback

Hello everyone.I am new to this forum,so hopefully I get this right.lol.This past week I obtained a CCM camelback bike in what looks like almost all original. It has diamond shaped headbadge and is solid marroon. It has the kidney bean spocket with the ccm triplex crank that use the pins.It has the back rack with the clip attached that acts as a luggage carrier and drop down stand as well. This rack is also a solid marroon.Almost the entire bike is factory pinstriped like the forks/fenders/rims/all frame bars and around the headbadge. The back hub is a Pat CCM 1926 Hercules.I have pulled the or

couple of things

I put some newish wheel reflectors on my 1937 CCM bike so I would'nt get runover at night by one of the terrable drivers we have out here.

So I got some gas from this guy about it the fact that they were not ''period correct''. so did they have wheel reflectors in the  late 30s?

Do you know what they looked like or where I could buy some?

Second thing is I have a pixi engine but I need everything else that goes with it.

2014 Vintage CCM Calendar

Seeing the photos of Wayne's fantastic collection of bikes reminded me again that this would be a project worth taking on. So sent in a photo of your favourite pre-1983 CCM bike currently in your possession and we'll use 14 of the photos to produce a 2014 calendar. The calendar will 8.5" x 11" closed and 11" x 17" when open.

I'm relying on Alan and some of you other young folks to get the word out to the muscle bike crowd. We'll certainly want them represented as well.

I attended  the Dutch Mason Blues Fest and Motorcycle show here in Truro, NS.  The Blues Bros were the headliners for the 3 day event..they put on a stupendous show.

I am attaching a photobucket link of my display in the motorcycle tent.  http://s917.photobucket.com/user/dobie45/library/DUTCH%20MASON%20BLUES%20FESTIVAL%20AND%20BIKE%20SHOW/DUTCH%20MASON%20BLUES%20FEAST%20AND%20MOTORCYCLE%20SHOW
