hi could someone help me with this serial number ..thanks AL
Hello everyone !
I have just started restoring my loop frame bike last night. I am trying to determine the age. My seat tube is stamped with an odd serial number 8V0028. I say odd because the first 0 looks like its overstamped with a 1. My rear hub has the CCM patent for 1937, and it's serial number is 476831.
Everything looks to be pretty much original, with the rims and frame still having the pinstriping. I will try to add some pics. Not having much luck with that though.
Thought I'd share some close-up pictures of a restored 72' Marauder , enjoy!
(Indoor pictures were took earlier, that's why there's missing parts.)
Hello,
I just purchased my second CCM today. Its missing the head badge and one grip. The serial number dates it to 1942. What attracted me to this bike, besides being a CCM is its 28"/700C wheels. Does anyone know what model it is. Was the frame originally all black like it is now or has it been repainted?
Thanks,
Chris

Hello! I need some help identifying this bike. I was told that it was a CCM, but I dont recognize the headtube badge, and the serial number doesnt seem to match anything from CCM. The serial is etched at the top of the seat tube, and appears to be 6 numbers long.
a very good friend gave me a ccm l ' automatique it is a 5 speed that shifts by itself acording to wheel speed with weights in the wheel. dad marked on the weights i was wondering what year it was. thanks william rudolph
