Hi everyone,
In 1978 I bought a CCM bike, my first bike purchased with my own money.
It was glossy black, 10 speed and for the life of me I can't recall the name. Something like Black Prince...there was also a companion bike in silver...at least in the store.
I'm sure that someone can tell me the name of that bike. Thanks to all.
After much cleaning and searching I found the serial number on my Elan. It is GXXXXXX, so now I am as confounded as ever as suggestions are that G was a doubled up serial, but referring to the 60's I don't see G in the 70's as was suggested. Help!
CCM Grand Sports - serial number D94799 seems from the CCM webage of serial numbers it could be 1962 or 1972. Check the photo and let me know which decade you think it is from.
I looked for a serial number on my old CCM. I found 2 very difficult to decipher numbers as the guy who gave it to me left it outside for many years. On the under side of the leather seat I found the ltters GX and on the seat post I found what I think was 10020NJV. Not sure if I had it upside down though. It could also have been ARNO340014. I'll send a picture of the bike tomorrow.

Hey, My wife and I have been refurbishing and upcycling old vintage bikes for a while now and we recently acquired a nice CCM Apache but the decals and paint are to far gone to save. we are going to repaint the bike but would like to get ahold of some new decals to finish off the bike. Any suggestions?

I recently purchased a cycle, serial number T22134,which I believe is a 1932 CCM. On further strip down, I have found another number on the forks, BSA13/16H, not sure what this means, Could anyone help explain this number?
A year ago I tried and failed to remove a pair of pedals from my 1947 Men's Roadster after having a frame bending run in with a lamp post. It wasn't until I was able to more easily remove pedals from a different bike that I discovered what I had been doing wrong.

I am working on restoring a 1972 CCM ladies bike for my wife.
I'm re assembling after a total teardown and paint job. This is my first bike teardown.
I can't for the life of me remember how to attach the front fender to the downtube. I think I might of lost a part when tearing down. I see a square hole on the bottom of the downtube of the front fork. Was there a plastic gromet or something to accept the screw I think I took out?
Any help would be great!

Just wondering if CCM made any loop frame models like the one seen here. Serial # Y12328. Not much to go one. "Clipper" 26 x 1 1/2" F.12 tires/wheels. "Standard" Made in Germany saddle. Hub has a CCM labelled brake arm and stamped hub shell with "A38871".
