Welcome to Vintage CCM. Use this forum to introduce yourself to other forum members.
My name is Paul R. Jones and I have a DSB designed CCM 4speed Nexus cruiser.
Can anyone tell me about this bike????
This trike I had in Okinawa in 1948-1949. It looks very much like a CCM but I cannot tell for sure.
Could this be a CCM?
The photo with me on a smaller trike I think is a Junior Trike Co model. But I am adding it for size difference.
Hi everyone. I'm from Port Moody and just discovered this site. I recently acquired a CCM Targa similar to the one I had when I was 13 in 1973. That bike was stolen and I always missed it. I'm really enjoying the site and all the history it contains.
Merry Christmas to all our Forum folks and your families this Christmas morning. Thanks for sharing your questions, expertise and spare parts throughout the year.
May 2014 be a year of good health, happiness and great CCM finds.
John
Hey folks,
Just thought I would stop by and say hello. My name is Pat and I live in Nelson B.C. where I lead a vintage bicycle club called the Scullions. We meet monthly to help one another thrash on bikes and network to buy/sell/trade parts amongst ourselves. There also may be a bit of beer drinking involved. Of course being that we are proud Canadians we have a healthy dose of CCMs in the gang.
MORNING!! Happy Sunday!
I'm Carmen from Miami
Just wanted to pass by and say HOLA before I start surfing this AWESOME Site.
I found U while learning more about my 1969 or 1975 CCM CHEETAH (girl's bike).
I'm in the process of restoring her. (let me see if I can attach a Pic of her)
BOY!
Hi from Vernon.
My husband and I recently acquired 2 ccm bikes.
A ccm elite from the 70's. (photo to come)
And, one for me! What we've been told is that it is from the '30's.
The guy we bought it from said it was his mother's that she always rode. Now it's been hanging in his barn for the last 60 years. We plan to restore it - and hopefully I can be riding it next spring.
Hi,I am Mike from Sussex New Brunswick Canada.I have two old C.C.M.s.A mans 28 inch 1937 [Serial No.9A2504] and a ladies 28 inch 1933 serial V8026..I am sure of the serial Nos.Do I have the year right. Thanks for your help.
I thought I would take a few minutes and share a picture of this super cool 1940. I rescued this bike from our local landfill!! Somebody had set it out beside the scrap metal pile. I scooped it up as soon as I saw it. I am a salvager by nature, but know the difference between junk and treasure. I couldn't find any info on a model name. If anyone knows that would be great. Kinda wondering what it might be worth too. Thanks in advance for the shared knowledge. Ryan
I've been lurking for a bit and this forum has encouraged me to start looking at early Canadian bicycles. I especially love the lines of the ladies loop frames and hopefully my next acquisition will be an early Canadian model of one. I've already got the picture of what I want in my mind. And I've seen one rusting away in someone's garden I would love to have.
