Welcome to Vintage CCM. Use this forum to introduce yourself to other forum members.
A while back the possibility of creating a Collectors' Gallery on the website was discussed. The notion was that it would be a place for members to say a bit about themselves, their collection and their affinity for CCM.
The structure to do that is now in place.
In order to create your personal space, you must login and go to the Collectors' Gallery (3rd from left on menu bar).
Please post your thoughts here regarding the suggestion for an up-dated Gallery found on the front page.
Thank you for including me in your group.
I found Vintage CCM while searching for info on my late father-in-law's racing bike he used in the 1932 ( Los Angeles ) Olympics.
When I found the bike in his tool shed it was in pretty rough shape. Over the years everyone had a go at riding and repairing it as well as a couple of paint jobs.
Hello everyone!
By way of introduction, my name is Douglas Hulse. Greetings from Calgary, Alberta.
Pictured is my CCM Legacy Tandem Cruiser bike. Frankly, I know very little about it, although I am hopeful someone in the group does. Any insights/information regarding the bike would be very much appreciated. I, too, would be interetsed in obtaining any original sales & service literature pertaing to the bike pictured.
I have only seen 2 of these bikes, both coincidentally in British Columbia. Mine was purchsed new in Chilliwack and I saw the other one in Langley.
Glad I found this site, I recently acquired for free a 1961 CCM child's size bike and I'm excited to bring it back to life, it even has licence decals from 1963/64 New Westminster BC !
I live on Central Vancouver Island and would like to hear from any local members and others in BC to share repair ideas.
Thanks !
Ian

Will be in Omemee tomorrow with some memorabilia and bikes. Hope some folks can make it out. Weather's looking good. Nice day for a drive. See the town where Neil Young spent his childhood. "There is a town in north Ontario"......
