Use this forum to discuss all things related to vintage CCM bicycles including Rambler, Flyte, Mustang etc.
There are many questions that come in by the way of the website. Usually i can respond fairly promptly, but this is the week of the Stewart Park Festival which I chair and things have been pretty hectic. So i thought I'd post the last few hoping someone might be able to help these folks out. Thanks.

Smaller than 1/2 inch threading on pedals! Any idea what this is and where to find replacement pedals?
cheers,

QUESTION # 2
Just trying to see if anyone knows what the year of my bike is from the serial number? F655131, any info? thanks so much.
As mentioned in a previous post, I was pretty excited to have recently acquired a 1930 Massey Harris Motorbike. One of my two favourite bikes and one that I've been after for a few years. It was sitting buried in a garage since the 70s. Overall everything looked to be in good shape other than a couple broken spokes, one punctured tire and the fact that it was completely covered in spray paint. Minimal rust on the handlebars. All other plated parts are really nice once the paint was removed.
I just scored a Massey motorbike. I haven't dated it yet but will update the post with that info soon.
Overall, it is in pretty good condition. Unfortunately, someone decided to spray paint the frame, fork and rims and wasn't very concerend about overspray or taping. The headset, part of the stem, spokes, bottome bracket are all partially painted.
Hi,
From what I can tell, Ramblers only had a head badge and a chain guard decal. Mine is a '61. Is this correct?
Thanks, Daryl
Good day to all, I am new to this forum.
I recently purchased a 1942 CCM Red Bird, in much need of TLC.
It has been repainted several times, and the original color appears to be a Baby Blue. Is this an original CCM color, and if so, what is the color code? Are there any paints on the market that resemble CCM colors? One of the collectors on this blog (Mark) appears to have a bicycle with a similar color.
Your help is appreciated.
Marc (M.A.T).
Hi,
Just had stolen from my Ottawa backyard an old ccm tandem bike. I bought iit
5 years ago from an ottawa architect who had it hanging on his garage as an
ornament. It was all seized up and i got it back in working order. Used it
extensively with my kids. It was red, with a green milkcrate on the back,
serial no. B85548C. It was rough around the edges, but was solid, reliable
and fun.
Hello CCMers
recently aquired a ccm Flyte and am wondering where the serial number should be located?
looking to determine what year it is and then decide if I should restore it or move it along, sorry no pics at the moment ...any help is appreciated

This worn beauty measures about 18" x 24". On a heavier cardboard. Has the support flap (like on picture frames), allowing it to stand upright. I'm going to have it framed.
