Looking to date/understand my serial number

Just got an older Sterling bike. Badge indicates Canadian made, but I need a couple things. One is to identify the year the other is i seem to be missing the chain guard if anyone has one and looking for a good source for tires as these seem to be an elusive size.
sorry can't seem to figure out why the image posts upside down.

Hello, just recently picked up this bike along with a couple others. The bike seems remarkably complete, the plan is to just clean it up and make a decent rider out of it.

CCM Tour du Monde?

Hi,

I'm tryng to determone if the CCM 12 speed I have is a  1984 Tour du Monde?

That's the only similar match I've found on the internet but would like to verify it.

Seems most of the components are made in Europe - nice light bike for way back then.

1984 seems late to me. I believe I bought this brand new at D&J Cycle in Rexdale at a younger age than that makes me.

1937 BB specs?

Hello does anyone know the size of the bottom Bracket size of a 1937 "motorbike" ? 68mm? etc.

thanks

Nine CCM bikes from Don Farmer's collection are up for auction this Sunday. Don's bikes are in lots 123-127 and 129-132. See link below:

1942/43 Roadster details

I started this discussion over on the Crackbook where Mark McGuire provided some information, and on his recommendation, I'm posting here for further details.

The bike I'm restoring is a '42 or '43 CCM Roadster (loop frame?) barn find with 1H SN prefix. Over the last (almost) 80 years it lost the saddle, pedals and grips, but otherwise appears to be intact. There's no indication it ever had a head badge, and Mark states that it would have had a decal, although there's no remnants extant.

Looking to date 1930’s? Women’s CCM

I picked this up for $50, I found out that it was sold in department stores/ general stores as a lower grade model. It has the name "sterling" on the head badge. ( I know my picture isn't great). The serial number doesn't seem to line up with the ccm serial numbers so it leaves me with some confusion. Any help with info on the bike or finding a manufacturer date would be a great help! Thanks for looking

Rear reflector

Are they available repopped for a 63/4 Imperial Mark 4?

the serial number appears to be a G but there is no G in the list of CCM serial numbers so im assuming its a C ,making it a 63.

but I read on here a comment from another member that the Mark 4 was only introduced in 64..is that correct?..sorry no pic yet but its blue/white and has chrome fenders that appear factory. Original whitwalls as they are crumbling!
