So here's why I joined the forum... I got what I tougth is a CCM 30's Ladies bike. Now that a went trought some topics I don't think it is... I don't know... The coaster brake isn't a Hercules and the serial # is on the headset bracket (F779)
Hello people,
I am doing some genealogical research and have learned that my Great Uncle was in the bicycle manufacturing business, and I am trying to gather as much information as possible.
The brand was McCready Bicycles established during the late 1800's in Ontario. I've gathered that it produced a number of models, and have found 1 ad which curiously doesn't even show a bicycle. I'm certain that there must have been a Logo as well.
Evening: New to the website and wonder if anyone can tell me anything about my CCM Tricycle. It was bought used for me on Vancouver Island in 1951, so I am guessing it is a 1940's vintage. Attached are some pictures. Thanks for any help you can give.

just bought a ccm flyte
30-40s tandem
38 ccm motorcycle
30s to early 40s delivery
1946 womens fleetwing with org baby carrier
1950 marshall wells and co mens bike
most all have org paint and pinstripping
i met a guy that has a vintage bike graveyard and has over 50 bikes and was very cool to look and buy from him
thanks for looking and hope to get some more knowledge about the hobby and information on parts that might be needed.
Hi Guys. My name is Gary and I live in Alberta. I dabble in antiques and frequently come across vintage bicycles. My most recent purchase is a Red Bird which I believe is a 1899 . I will try to post pictures and any info would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi, my name is Jesse Cooper, mechanic at Our Community Bikes in Vancouver, and in the bike industry since '98.
I come across a lot of vintage stuff just being donated to our non profit bike shop, so we see a lot of interesting stuff.
nice ta meetcha!
Hello,
Thanks for letting me join your group. I've been trying to determine the year and model name for this bicycle, does anyone recognize it? There is a serial number, E136746, near the rear axle. From what I could find online it appears that maybe this is a 1973 model? My intention is to clean-up this bicycle and give it to a relative. Can someone tell me what is the best way to make the badge look good again? Thanks for your help.
Tom
