I have a decent set of Gibson pedals but the axles are bent. I attempted to straighten one and it immediately broke. Anybody have extra axles that may fit?

So I’ve finally finished my resto on my ‘42 CCM Rambler. Seat, tires, pedals, head tube emblem and so on. When I was taking the old pedals off they were pretty much seized on so I had to use a little force and some of the threads came out with the old pedals. To describe it...it’s like the top points of the threads came off or flattened if you understand what I’m saying. So I got the new pedals in tight and the left on worked it’s way loose on the first ride. Threads on that pedals are shot but now I’m worried about the left arm thread on the crankset.
just repaired a 1945 ccm delivery for a friend . it has a square piece of metal that flips to 3 positions located between the top holes where the carrier fits . what is this for
I’d like to replace the front and rear axles nuts on my ‘42 CCM Rambler. Does anyone know what size I should be looking for? Thanks!
Just installed my Brooks B66 saddle, new tires and head tube emblem on my 42 CCM Rambler. Waiting for a period bell but still looking for 1/2” pedals without reflectors. A set of new reproductions or a set of reconditioned ones would be amazing. Does anyone have any leads on these?
I recently purchased this old ccm bike but the serial nember is odd as the 3rd digit is a letter. Could someone help me with the date on this bike. It has the oval headbadge with the crown logo. It also has an Eadie rear coaster hub wich I'm also finding hard to date as well.
Hi folks. I'm going to be posting some photos of a bike I discovered today. At first glance, i thought this bike was American, but the Hercules hub on the rear tire leaves me to believe that it may be Canadian. There are no holes in the headtube to suggest that it was badged (besides possibly a decal), and it has a really intersting stamping in crown of fork that reads Model No 65. The serial number reads 140387. The bike has original black paint, and I belive saddle, pedals, and grips are all original to the bike as well.
Could someone please confirm that my 1942 CCM Rambler uses 9/16 pedals. I took a wrench and that size fits but would like to know for sure since I’m looking for pedals. Thank you!
The front hub on my 42 Rambler has a small hole for oil but no plug in it. The rear hub has a huge plug and I has wondering if it is missing or didn’t come with a front one. Thanks!

Looking for new pedals for my 1942 CCM Rambler Motorbike. I have a set of Union pedals but would like at least a retro style without reflectors or a set of NOS Gibson or Phillips. Maybe you can help steer me in the right direction.
