1948 Ladies Balloon

I picked this CCM ladies balloon bike up yesterday. I did a trade for some parts. It is in good shape. Seat and grips are wrong. 1 tire is a Dunlop Cuishion Ride and the other is Dunlop Balloon. Bike still has the pinstripes on the wheels and some on the fenders. I don't see to  many ladies balloon bikes out there. Nice to have one. I am not sure if the pictures will show up.

Early Ivanhoe

A fellow picked up this early Ivanhoe today- wooden grips, wooden rims. Looking for any pertinent info., age etc.

CCM Rambler

CCM Rambler with H in second position of serial number. Must be 1940's.

CCM BMX

I bought this early 80's CCM bmx this summer. I want to restore it but finding any info is turning out tougher then I thought. Anyone else have one like it. Looking for colors and decals. Thanks.

CCM Flyer BB axle

Hello,

I have a question that maybe someone can answer.

What material did CCM use for their Flyer BB axles?

The material, specification and process would be nice to know.

i.e.

Material type

Heat treated to hardness (Brinel or Rockwell number)

Prewar 3speed project

Hi, I'm thinking about fixing up a CCM 3 speed that my Dad bought new in North Battleford Sask 1941 as a kid.  The serial no. appears to be 9V6732 but some of the numbers are stamped upside down so it could be 9A67432 making it a 1937 model.  I've got the 1941 tin licence plate for it as well which is pretty cool.. Unfortunately  the rims are too far gone with rust so they will have to be replaced. From what I have gleaned from the web, the rims are the 26x1 1/2 westwood type.

Need help identifying CCM Massey

First off, please excuse my ignorance on the subject.  I love all forms of cycling and the history of it but am new to world of vintage bicycles and eager to learn.

I've been looking online but can't find any photos similar to my Massey and am hoping someone with more knowledge of them can share some info or point me in the right direction.  I've seen a couple photos of delivery bikes that look very similar other than heavy duty basket that they have.

- I believe it is a 1942 model.  Serial number is 1h9221

- not a wraparound headbadge

Recently I was looking at some of my bikes, which either languish in glory displayed at home /cottage or are either ignored or nelected in one of the outbuildings, all of which get limited exposure to the general public.  Some get accompany me to Car shows on occasion or are loaned for museum displays.

What year is my Pre-war CCM ?

I am new to Vintage CCM,

I have an old 28" Bike which i think is a pre-war model, the original colour was a dark blue, it's a 20" frame, flat fender braces, Diamond headbadge. It has been modified over the years, with a 50's seat, dino-hub, 3spd brake hub.

The serial # is 6A574 . Any idea what year this would be ?

Having trouble loading other pictures... I will try again later...
