Hello

I was wondering if you could help me. I am looking to try to get the the decals for a vintage two seater CCM bike. My Grandfather rebuilt years ago and he has now passed away. I am attempting to rebuild from a rusted mess, I know it was orginally a CCM from a painted over decal that I could read.

Adding V-code bikes to Chart

Recently in the Forum titled CCM Rambler, John retyped the VIM article that was the basis for the serial number dating chart that he created and that is now in regular use. T-Mar pointed out that if the xxxxxA code bikes are from October to December 1949 then the mysterious xVxxxx code bikes that pop up now and then should be from January to September 1949.  I am going to post some photos here to provide further evidence and make the case that the chart be updated to include V-code bikes to the chart for 1949.

Year, model and Head Badge?

Hi,

I acquired this "restored", what I think is a CCM as is, without a head badge.  It has a Perry (Made in England) hub with the markings "40  14" (1940?).  It has an original(?) Dunlop sprung saddle.

It has been painted but lacks a head badge.  I would like to find out the model an approximate year if possible and where I might find a head badge or replica for the bicycle.

Also thinking about flipping the bars and making a path racer...any thoughts?

Thanks and take care,

Daryl
