My parents bought me a new bike from Canadian Tire in 1980. It was a CCM Skyline (I think)... heavy steel frame with stanchioned forks in the front and coil shocks in the rear. It also had a wide and long moto-type seat and a fake plastic gas tank.
I've been trying to locate some pictures of one of these bikes, but no luck so far... hoping someone here can help me out.

Nice CCM large wheel trike up for auction this coming Sat.the 25th .close to Wellesley Ont. Look up www.auctionsfind.com/gerber Looks like a repaint but still looks good. Not interested but just thought someone might be.
I thought that I would post a few pictures of a custom 1936 CCM Columbia Roadster that I have owned for several years. I believe that this bicycle was made by CCM for Mr. John Heil, the owner of Norwood Cycle in Edmonton. This bicycle could be seen hanging in the window of Norwood Cycle for many years at was quite an attraction. Occasionally, it was taken down and ridden in parades. It has almost every option on it, including a deluxe speedometer, horn, lighting system, and Sturmey Archer internal expanding brakes. The odometer reads slightly more than 250 miles.

I am new to the forum. I'm from Windsor, ON and I'm interested in bikes so I wanted a project bike to work on and learn bike mechanics so I picked up my first old CCM.
Its a 1948 Men's Standard Roadster CCM.
It's rideable but needs work.
I have to begin by removing some hub rust and rebuilding the hubs.
The bike has been powder coated.
i will have many questions.
Any thoughts on this particualr bike? Was found in a barn many years ago. Has been repainted. Wood rims marked CCM 1921.
I picked this Cleveland up recently and am wondering what year it could be. Missing headbadge but the Cleveland outline shows and it has 4 rivets. I think I have seen the cranks on an ealy Cleveland before. It has rat traps that look like a Cleveland headbadge design. It also has the 2 bolt bottom bracket. Rear hub is New Hercules with the brake arm. The bike apears to be original paint but no transfers are showing. I know without the headbadge it will be harder to figure out the year.
I have what appears to be a 1960 CCM 3-speedwhich I am going to send to my friend, Don Farmer (who collects CCM bicycles) in Quebec. I do not have any CCM model pictures or information between the years 1958 and 1964. I am wondering if CCM catalogues or brochures with model information exist for these years. Can anyone tell me?

Greetings from Brandon, Manitoba. I found this gem being used as a prop in a shop window down town. My eyes were instantly drawn toward the wide large rubber tires, and I realized it still had it's original ballon tires. The shop owner was happy to sell it, and I was happy to get it ! I think the serial number dates this to 1941. Please correct me if I'm wrong. The bike was rideable the day I got it. All I had to do was inflate the tires, and they've held air ever since! The brakes are scary !

I have this 6 speed CCM elan with the same paint scheme as the 3 spd below. Serial number is 6157963. The seat tube has the following information on the decal:

I am thinking it is around the time of the CCM closure. Would this bicycle be an authentic "Built in Canada" CCM? Is the "VeloSport" the same company that manufactured under the same name?

Hi all, taking advantage of spring like conditions here in BC I have begun to restore my newly acquired 39 Rambler. For a 75 year old bike it is in fairly good, rideable condition. It appears to have mostly original parts : cranks, forks, wheels etc. The handlebars are not, neither is the saddle although it is an old one. I suspect the fenders are later CCM replacements, with a factory blue paint job. It looks like a previous owner decided to hand paint the frame and rims to match the fenders- which now looks quite ugly. So my plan is to strip the parts off the frame and repaint it.
