CCM Bicycle with unique sprocket

Finally cleaned this bike up for my wife. Serial # is A59591, has 28" tires. I believe it is a 1961 model.

This bike has a unique CCM sprocket. I have seen this sprocket before.

Not sure when, how long or what model CCM used this sprocket for.

Any thoughts?

Any Redneck tips for bent rear stay

Came across a 1927 men's ccm in a junkyard but 2 inches up from the dropouts there is a bend and little kink in the rear stay. Any way to fix other than cut and weld?

Help with 3 speed hub with drum brake

Hello all I have a set of sturmey archer hubs with drum brakes. They were in non working shape when I got them, I want to use them on a new set of rims I put together for a build. My question is can anyone help me with making sure they work properly, I don't want to build a wheel around them and not have them function properly . I seem to have all the parts I think, I just want to learn more about them through a hands on experience. If anyone has time to teach a kid i am willing to learn .

Triplex crank tool

    Hi guys,

I am having difficulty trying to remove a triplex crank....  I have tried many different types of pullers, but none will grab securely under the arms...  Any thoughts? Or tools that I could purchase?

                                 Thanks,  Dave

Tire Size Blues

I think all of us with older 28" rim CCMs have found it challenging to find suitable tires. I have several times found comments from ccm owners wishing they could find a taller tire to better fill the gap between the wheel and fender.

1960's Canadian F12 26 inch rim question

Hi,  I am working on a mid-60's CCM, and I have F12 rims on the bike.  However the front and rear rim profiles are different.  The rear rim has a flat V shape, and the front rim has a rounded central bump, of the Westwood rim style usually seen on rod brake roadsters, but also on early CCMs.   In searching for parts, I have come across two other bikes with this same configuration of F12 rims with this odd installation.
