We can rebuild her; we have the technology

The 1964 CCM one-speed is back in motion: better, stronger, faster.

Thanks to participants of this site for helping me date the bike, and for comments and advice on the components.

Thanks to Wayne for the decals, and John for supporting the blog.

The bike is returning to its owner in Kingston.

Bicycle plates

I just found these 1942 through 1945 Chatham Ontario bicycle plates at a car show in a car vendors licence plate box. Thought they would be nice to dress up my 1930 Rambler and 1945 CCM. The same fellow said he had a 1943 Windsor. Ontario plate and would let me know when he finds it.

My 1930 Rambler serial # P22926

Took these pics today of the 1930 Rambler that I picked up last summer  It is as I found it, just with a good clean up. I replaced the seat with one identical to the Brooks that was on it. Has anyone seen this head badge before.

1959 Ladies bicycle

I had posted this previously and had not provided a good picture. The serial number shows this as a 1959. Sadly someone has removed the head badge, so I am trying to find out the correct headbadge for it. also need one tire 28 x11/2 can anyone help

Thanks Tom

CCM Bicycle Collectors Survey

Hi Guys!

I'm currently working on a little project, if you folks could be kind enough to fill out this survey it will greatly help me in my quest ;)

New find

Found this one in a` ditch covered  with mud and leaves. It had been there for a while. I tried to get the serial number but all that comes up is 545301 can't see a letter at the beginning unless it is instead S45301 making it a 1931.

1945 CCM OVERLAND,brass headbadge.

Hey guys I picked up a 1945 ladies loop frame CCM,with a brass headbadge that reads,OVERLAND,Canada Cycle And Motor Company.I was under the assuption that 44 and 45 were decal, war grade bikes, but this kinda proves to me other bikes, with riveted headbadges made it out into the world. The bike has the zinc war era pedals which are correct. When I took the headbadge off,I revealed the original paint which is black with gold pinstriping, also has a 3 spring messinger seat, which I beleieve may be correct.I have had a few war grade bikes with decal headbadges, but not a brass headbadge Overland in 19
