Received the poster for this year's Canadian Vintage Bicycle Show from Jamie McGregor. It's to be held in Brantford on June 24th. Jamie is a member on the site here and I'm sure will keep us up to date as the event approaches.
For those who are looking ahead, I really recommend you keep this date open. I went for the first time last year and had a great day. It's a well run event with friendly people and bikes you'll just never see anywhere else.

Yesterday, I went into the country to talk to a fellow about some old bicycles he was supposed to have. Well, he did have some old bikes.
I waided through crotch deep snow to get at as many as I could and took as many pictures as I could in the time the impatient owner would allow.
I have a 37 flyte with a english threaded bottom bracket and a ccm cotter pin crank. I also have one with a ccm triplex crank
Im going to put the two together to make one nice one to keep and Im wondering which one to do it to?
I posted this on thecabe and someone there suggested it might have links to CCM
It does look like the 1930 Heavy Duty I found in this forum.
Any ideas?
I have been collecting vintage bicycles for a while now, and have owned several old CCM road bicycles, roadsters, balloon tire steeds, and the like. Presently I have early to mid seventies CCM Tour du Canada and a recently acquired 1939 CCM "Road Racer".
My first post. Glad that there is now a CCM forum although after 20 years I'm getting out of bicycle collecting. Which brings me to my question. I'm selling off my collection, some of it CCM including a wooden wheeled Cleveland. I have an tentative agreement to purchase at $400. Is that about right? My concern is that it may be worth more and I don't want to give it away.

I have a 3-Speed Club Racer that I purchased from Eaton's in Ottawa, in the 1950-52 era.
I have some pictures that I can post if any one is interested.
Question.......should I consider restoring it, or is it worth the cost and effort?
Any Input would be appreciated............thanks

Hello, I was hoping if someone could tell me if the rims on this cleveland are original? They do not look like regular ccm rims. I know the hubs are ccm... I can email some high resolution photo's of the wheels if that helps.... I have never seen a Cleveland before, so I am not sure...... Thanks, Dave
I was looking to see if someone might have some information about the Marshall Wells dep stores. I know they used to brand a lot of their stuff Zenith. Bicycles were CCM made. I was wondering if there's a catalog from 39 that show the bikes they have in store or maybe a CCM catalog from 39 showing similar bikes. They probably didn't came with the same options but I'm trying this avenue.
